At Zak Enterprises we believe that giving back to the community is a core value
that every company should embrace.
Since our inception in 1993 we have actively initiated programs
within the community to support schools, non profit organizations as well as
disabled or otherwise handicapped members of our community. This is an important
part of our company culture and we urge you to join us in this pursuit.
Schedule a tour of our facility for your Elementary School
Class
It has been our pleasure to conduct over 100 tours of our
facilities for local elementary school classes over the past decade. These tours
are fun for us as well as informative to the youngsters. Kids see firsthand all
the components that make up a computer and are introduced to component re-use as
well as informed of some of the environmentally unfriendly things that are also
present in electronic equipment. Our goal with these tours is to provide an
entertaining and informative lesson on environmental responsibility in an effort
to help us all raise environmentally aware youngsters.
Free computer parts for Non Profit Organizations
There are many organizations out there serving the
community by building up older computers and providing them at no charge to the
needy. We applaud these efforts and support these organizations by providing
components such as working modems, sound cards, and graphics cards to these non
profit organizations at no charge. If your organization builds free computers
for the needy, please contact us and we will be happy to support your efforts.
